Description

Sichuan Quartz is a variety of Quartz, a silicon dioxide mineral with a hardness of 7. Its crystal system is hexagonal (trigonal). The crystals are almost all double-terminated and most are small, from one half inch to two inches. The majority contain inclusions of whitish or black material. Sichuan Quartz comes from the Sichuan province of China.
